Will there be a war on Yom Kippur?
Many people sense that our world is about to erupt in WW3. If so, when is it most likely to happen?
God is ultimately in control of what Satan is allowed to do, when he’s allowed to do it, where he’s allowed to do it, to whom he’s allowed to do it, and how far he’s allowed to go.
So, are there any specific times that God might choose? Yes. God gave a calendar to the Hebrew people.
And, is there a timeframe on that calendar in which God tells the Hebrew people to seriously get their hearts right with Him (and it precedes a time of judgment)? Yes.
What is Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur?
According to Leviticus 23: 23-32, the first 10 days of the Hebrew calendar is a time for the Jewish people to get their hearts right with the Lord before judgment is made.
The 10th day is Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year, aka the Day of Atonement:
31 You shall not do any work. It is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. 32 It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict yourselves. On the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your Sabbath.” (Leviticus 23: 31-32)
The first 10 days of the new year to are called “the days of awe.” It is a 10-day period of penitence culminating with the Day of Atonement. Any Jew who works on the Day of Atonement will be “cut off” and “destroyed” from among his people:
28 And you shall not do any work on that very day, for it is a Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God. 29 For whoever is not afflicted on that very day shall be cut off from his people. 30 And whoever does any work on that very day, that person I will destroy from among his people. (Leviticus 23: 28-30)
I believe that God, in His mercy, has given all of His people a few extra days before the final 7 years begins. It’s an opportunity to turn to Him and get our hearts right with Him. Yes and Amen.
What are the End Times Prophecies?
The 6th Trumpet includes a war that involves an army of 200 million that kills one third of mankind with fire, smoke, and sulfur (Rev 9: 13-21). It appears very likely that the 6th Trumpet war will take place just before the final 7 years begins with a 7-year covenant (Daniel 9: 27).
The 6th Trumpet also includes 2 witnesses who prophesy and testify during the time of Great Tribulation (Rev 11).
The first 4 Seals are spiritual horsemen who put things into place for the final 7 years (Rev 6, Rev 7, Rev 8:1).
The 5th Seal is the beginning of the final 7 years (Rev 6: 9-11). Halfway through the 7-year covenant, the Antichrist will violate the covenant and begin the time of Great Tribulation (Daniel 9: 27) (Matthew 24: 15-31). The Great Tribulation is the wrath of Satan (Rev 12: 12-17).
The 6th Seal is the wrath of God (Rev 6: 12-17) (aka the 7 Golden Bowls/Vials) (Rev 16). The 7th Trumpet includes the wrath of God (Rev 11: 15-19).
The 7th Seal is silence in heaven (Rev 8: 1). This appears to be describing the awesome moments when Jesus Christ sits upon the throne in Jerusalem and begins His eternal reign.
The Timing
The first 4 Seals were opened on the last day of consecutive 7-year Shemitah cycles (1994, 2001, 2008, 2015). God provided proof for the 4th Seal being opened.
- The 1st Horseman was released 9/5/1994 (29 Elul): The United Nations (a governing body that intends to rule over the world) formally adopted Agenda 21 and officially declared their plans for “the future of the world.” Agenda 21 was later replaced with Agenda 2030 (the UN’s agenda/plans to modify the world by the year 2030). The 1st Horseman is a spirit of global conquest (global governance).
- The 2nd Horseman was released on 9/23/2001 (29 Elul): Following the Islamic terrorist attacks of 9/11, world leaders declared defiance instead of repentance. They even quoted Isaiah 9: 10 (Israel’s defiance toward God’s discipline). Peace was taken from the earth. The 2nd Horseman is a spirit of war.
- The 3rd Horseman was released on 9/29/2008 (29 Elul): The stock market plunged 777 points in a single day. It was the catalyst for the 2008/2009 Global Financial Crisis and the 2008/2009 Global Food Crisis. In the poorest nations, the cost of grain increased by about 300% and people could barely afford enough grain to make a loaf of bread. But there was plenty of oil and wine for those who could afford it. The 3rd Horseman is a spirit of economic power (hyperinflation and the manipulation of resources) (especially food).
- The 4th Horseman was released on 9/13/2015 (29 Elul): A migration of Biblical proportions began as millions of Islamic people flooded into non-Islamic Europe. The United Nations (UN) and the European Union (EU) used Agenda 21 / Agenda 2030 to coerce its members into ignoring established migration procedures. According to the UNHCR, over 75% of the undocumented migrants were military-aged men.
This event established the Islamic sword in western nations. It was also used as a catalyst to forcibly create a global community (by weakening national sovereignty and destroying cultural identities). Since Sept 2015, there has been a significant increase of undocumented migrants flooding into western nations (Europe and the USA).
The 4th Horseman is a spirit of death, and Hades is following close behind him. The 4th Horseman is given power over one fourth of the earth to kill with: the sword, famine, plagues, and wild animals (Revelation 6: 7-8).
What proof did God provide that the 4th Seal was opened?
After seeking God for 3 days regarding what happened on Sept 13, 2015, a unique and mysterious image appeared on our TV between news segments but was never acknowledged by the news station and it never showed up on the Internet. About a year later, the Lord unveiled the images hidden within the photo – and confirmed that it was about the 4th Seal.
The first 4 Seals were horsemen but the remaining Seals are not. Based on the timing of the first 4 Seals, it seemed very likely that the 5th Seal would be opened on the next Shemitah cycle (Sept 25/26, 2022). Yet that day came and went but nothing was announced.
Has a 7-year treaty been signed but not publicized? Or did God choose to do something different? In His mercy, has the Lord has given people a few more precious days to seek Him before it is too late?
God’s Timing
Would God allow a war to take place on Yom Kippur (the holiest day of the year)? Yes. In 1973, God set the precedent of allowing a war to take place on Yom Kippur.
Remember that God’s calendar is Jerusalem-centric. Whatever happens, it will be based on God’s calendar and Jerusalem’s time zone.
- Rosh Hashanah began at sunset on Sept 25, 2022.
- Yom Kippur begins at sunset on Oct 4, 2022.
It appears that the final 7 years of this age is about to begin.
In Conclusion
Please do not delay in getting your heart right with the Lord. Only God knows the number of your days. And the time is quickly approaching when time will be no more.
Jesus Christ loves you. As the Lamb of God, Jesus suffered and died on a cross to pay the price for your sins. He overcame sin and death. He was resurrected and now sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven.
Jesus Christ is the Savior for all people. But salvation is a gift that must be accepted or rejected. And if we would accept that gift, we need to follow Him and let Him be the Lord of our lives.
Jesus Christ bore a cross for us. Are we willing to take up our cross and live for Him? The world hated Him. The world will hate anyone who truly follows Him. But He will make a way for us.
Jesus is the ONLY way. Jesus Christ IS the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ.
