What are the 7 Thunders & the Little Book?
And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire. (Revelation 10: 1)
The Angel
The rainbow is a symbol of God’s promise to never again destroy the earth with water (Genesis 9). A face shining bright as the sun is a symbol of someone who has just been in the full presence of God (Exodus 34: 29-35). The fire is a symbol of God’s holy fire. The fire is on the angel’s feet because he is a messenger who has gone out to speak God’s words.
A Little Book
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth… (Revelation 10: 2)
The angel holds a little book in his hand. This book is important and will be described soon. The mighty (aka giant) angel sets his right foot upon the sea and his left foot on the earth. What he is about to say impacts the entire world (land and sea).
The 7 Thunders
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, “Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.” (Revelation 10: 3-4)
God chose to allow the Apostle John to hear what the 7 Thunders said but told him not to write it down. Therefore, the 7 Thunders are important but they have remained a mystery.
As the end of this age draws near, God may choose to reveal what the 7 Thunders said. I believe that God recently revealed what the 7 Thunders were talking about and I will describe it after describing the Little Book in more detail.
No More Delay
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (Revelation 10: 5-7)
This angel announces that time it up and there will be no more delay. This age is about to end. And when the 7th Trumpet is sounded, the things that God has revealed through His prophets will be fulfilled.
This announcement is made during the 6th Trumpet and there are several other things that are described as part of this Trumpet. When the 6th Trumpet is finished and the 7th Trumpet is sounded, what God has declared through His prophets will be completed.
In Matthew 24, Jesus referenced a specific prophecy of Daniel that mentioned the abomination that causes desolation:
15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, 18 and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak.19 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. (Matthew 24: 15-21)
This is the prophecy to which Jesus was referring:
24 Seventy weeks [490 years] are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks [49 years] and threescore and two weeks [62 weeks = 434 years]; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks [434 years] shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself; and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he [the Antichrist] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week [7 years]: and in the midst of the week [halfway through the 7 years] he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Daniel 9: 24-27)
The “weeks” are referring to 7-year Shemitah cycles. God had commanded the Hebrews to observe a 7-year cycle: the 7th year was to be observed as a Sabbath year (Leviticus 25: 1-22). When the Hebrews violated their covenant with God, He assigned the consequences based on the number of Sabbath years that they did not observe and counted it out in “weeks” (7-year cycles) (Leviticus 26: 34-35).
Of the 70 “weeks” described in Daniel 9, all but one “week” has been completed. There is still a special 7-year period yet to take place before this age ends.
The Little Book
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. (Revelation 10: 8-10)
The Little Book is small in comparison to the angel of God, ergo it is even smaller in comparison to God. Yet, it serves an important role.
When first received and consumed, it tasted sweet in the mouth. But once it was inside the belly and too late to spit out, it became bitter. This book may seem sweet but once it is too late to spit out, it will turn sour and cause distress.
The Little Book is part of the 6th Trumpet and is described right after the 6th Trumpet war kills 1/3 of mankind (Revelation 9: 14-21). Therefore, the Little Book appears to be a reference to the 7-year treaty that will mark the final 7 years of this age (Daniel 9: 27).
The treaty may appear to be a good thing at first but it will ultimately bring about great distress: halfway through the 7-year treaty, the Great Tribulation will begin.
Prophesy Again
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. (Revelation 10: 11)
Having swallowed the Little Book and ingested it, the Apostle Paul was told to prophesy again about additional events of the 6th Trumpet. Those events are part of the Great Tribulation.
The 7 Thunders (revisited)
The 7 Thunders have something to do with the Little Book. Since the Little Book appears to be the 7-year treaty, it’s much easier to deduce what the 7 Thunders were probably talking about.
First, the Little Book is mentioned. Then the 7 Thunders speak. Then the Little Book is eaten. Therefore, the 7 Thunders are most likely saying something about the Little Book before it is ingested.
The 7 Thunders appear to be talking about what is inside the 7-year treaty.
The Little Book and the 7 Thunders are about something that happens after the 6th Trumpet war but before the Great Tribulation.
The 6th Trumpet war is likely to be blamed upon religious extremism therefore, the 7-year treaty is likely to include rules for tolerating religious differences. That treaty will put things in place for the Great Tribulation.
Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic Church, has been promoting a one world religion. The world loves him… but if he were truly following Christ, the world would hate him (John 15: 18-19).
The 7-year treaty will establish a set of laws that the world is expected to follow. More than likely, the treaty will be based on the 7 Noahide Laws. The modern world already tells people to embrace the Noahide Laws as “universal morality” for a civilized society.
Therefore, it appears that the 7 Thunders are most likely announcing the 7 Noahide Laws, how they contradict God’s laws, and how they will be used against God’s people during the time of Great Tribulation.
The 7 Noahide Laws
The Seven Laws of Noah are:
- Do not worship false gods/idols.
- Do not utter God’s name in vain, curse God or pursue the occult.
- Do not murder (this includes abortion).
- Do not steal or kidnap.
- Do not be sexually immoral (this includes: adultery, incest, sodomy / homosexuality, bestiality, castration).
- Do not eat a part of a live animal.
- Establish a judicial system to enforce the Noahide laws.
On the surface, many people might think that the Noahide Laws seem okay but when you dig deeper, you will see that those laws are not what they pretend to be. And you will see how the Antichrist will later be able to use them as a means to persecute Christians.
And what is Noahide Law #7 about? Why does it call for a judicial system to be set up to enforce the Noahide Laws? There is reason to be cautious about these laws.
The Noahide Laws present one set of laws for Jews and a different set of laws for Gentiles. Only Jews are allowed to observe the 10 commandments that God gave to Moses.
For example, the Noahide Laws do not permit Gentiles to keep the Sabbath day of rest because the Jewish leaders (that promote the Noahide laws) claim that command only applies to Jews.
If anyone wants to keep the Biblical Sabbath (the 7th day of the week), they would be allowed to convert to Judaism. So, in order for Christians to be allowed to observe the Sabbath, Christians would be required to convert to Judaism (and deny Christ).
Jesus Christ told his followers (Jews and Gentiles) to obey God’s commands (Mathew 19: 7) (John 15: 10) (Matthew 22: 36-40) (Mathew 28: 20) but not to get caught up in the extra laws that the Jewish leaders imposed (Matthew 15: 9).
Jesus also warned against anyone who would tell them not to keep God’s commands (Matthew 5: 19).
Jesus said that some of the people who called themselves Jews were not Jews, but instead worshipped at the synagogue of Satan (John 8: 44) (Revelation 2: 9) (Revelation 3: 9). And the prophet Ezekiel was shown what some Jewish leaders were doing behind closed doors and what they were doing was an abomination in the eyes of God (Ezekiel 8).
Satan has placed some of his followers within the synagogues and churches. There are people who claim to be something that they are not. Although they might call themselves Jews or Christians, those fake Jews and fake Christians are not truly worshipping the One True God. Their agenda is to create a world that pleases Satan. And there are many well-intentioned people being led astray by false teachers and Luciferian leaders.
Please understand that God loves the Jewish people. This article is not against God’s chosen people (the Jewish people). God’s promise to the Jewish people is eternal. He has not abandoned or replaced them. Gentile believers are grafted into the olive tree, they are not replacing it (Romans 11).
So, although many Jewish people might endorse the Noahide Laws, it does not automatically mean that they are among the false Jews. Both Jew and Gentile are likely to be fooled by the Noahide Laws and how those laws are likely to be used against Christians during the last 3-1/2 years of this age.
The Babylonian Talmud
The Noahide Laws are from the ancient Babylonian Talmud – they are not from the Torah.
Today, the Noahide Laws are promoted as being the minimal law under which humans should live. The Babylonian Talmud views Jews as superior to Gentiles and as such, there are 2 sets of laws.
Babylonian Talmud – Tractate Sanhedrin 57a states that the heathen (Gentiles) can be executed if they break certain Noahide Laws such as: adultery, bloodshed, and blasphemy.
Blasphemy laws include: saying that God has a Son, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, or that Jesus Christ died for our sins.
Notice that the Babylonian Talmud’s Blasphemy laws coincide exactly with the Blasphemy laws of Islam. The Noahide Laws are in alignment with Sharia Law. Those laws are extremely anti-Christ.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. (1 John 4: 1-3)
Sanhedrin 57b states that Gentiles can be executed on the basis of one judge and one male witness. And yes, it mentions decapitation as a means of execution (the same method of execution that Islam uses).
On October 13, 2004 the Sanhedrin, the highest tribunal of the Jewish state and religion, was re-inaugurated in Tiberius after 1,600 years of absence. The Jewish high court has been rebuilt. But that doesn’t automatically mean that the Sanhedrin will rule the world.
Keep in mind that the 7-year treaty will be agreed upon by 10 kings (Daniel 7: 24) (Revelation 17: 12). It is a treaty between Israel and her enemies (Daniel 9: 27). One king represents Israel. One king (the king of the south) is likely to represent Islam. And there will be 8 other kings who agree to the treaty.
Each king will be most interested in whatever kingdom they represent but they will agree to abide by the treaty’s rules. And the first half of the 7-year treaty will be different from the second half (when the Antichrist rises to power and also becomes the spokesperson for the new world order beast system).
The impact of the 7-year Treaty
Since the 7-year treaty follows the 6th Trumpet war in which 1/3 of mankind is killed, people will believe that the treaty is essential in order to achieve world peace. Anyone who does not pledge allegiance to the new global government will be viewed as a threat to world peace.
The treaty will be enforced by a global governing entity (e.g., the United Nations, the United Noachide Council, or something similar) that will be physically located in a great city. This also aligns with Noahide Law #7: establish a judicial system to enforce the Noahide Laws.
The Holy Bible refers to that great city as “Mystery” and “Babylon the great” (Revelation 17: 5). It is also called “the Great Prostitute” because it is spiritually unfaithful to God. It is called “the Mother of Prostitutes” because it leads others into spiritual unfaithfulness. The Bible also holds that city responsible for the martyring of God’s people (Revelation 17: 6).
Mystery Babylon, is a great city (not a nation). It is not the city of Jerusalem. After the Great Tribulation, God will completely destroy Mystery Babylon and it will become permanently uninhabitable (Revelation 14: 8) (Revelation 16: 19) (Revelation 18).
The Antichrist will confirm the 7-year treaty (Daniel 9: 27). The Antichrist is not one of the 10 kings that sign it (Daniel 11: 21). The Antichrist will eventually uproot 3 of the 10 kings (Daniel 7: 24). He will eventually become the king of the north (Daniel 11: 21).
The 3 kings that are uprooted by the Antichrist appear to be the lion (Britain), the bear (Russia), and the leopard (European Union) (Daniel 7). They are not past kingdoms because they will be allowed to live for a while longer after Jesus destroys the terrifying beast (Daniel 7: 12). The lion, bear, and leopard kingdoms will all be in existence at the same time and they will eventually become part of the end times beast (Revelation 13: 2).
During the first half of the treaty, the 3rd temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt.
Halfway through the 7-year treaty, the Antichrist will violate the treaty (Daniel 9: 27). Temple sacrifice will be abolished, the abomination that causes desolation will be set up, and the Great Tribulation will begin (Daniel 9: 27) (Matthew 24: 15-22).

Lest you think that the Noahide Laws are not already in place in the free world and ready to become enforced, please know that the US Congress has claimed that the Noahide Laws were the founding principles of the nation (instead of being based on the Holy Bible which the founding fathers utilized in schools as the preferred reading book).
Between 1982 and 1994, Congress repeatedly passed Public Laws to establish a day in honor of the Noahide Laws and the Jewish Rabbi (Menachem Mendel Schneerson) who led the Lubavitch movement which promoted the Noahide Laws globally. They named it “Day of Reflection,” “Education Day,” and/or “Education and Sharing Day.”
In addition to the Noahide Laws working toward establishing a global government that persecutes Christians, there is another treaty that was established by the United Nations on December 9, 1947. Even though it was vaguely worded, it was eventually ratified in the USA on February 19, 1988.
It’s called the “Genocide Treaty” (aka the Genocide Convention). It made genocide a crime but it redefined “genocide.” They define genocide as an individual doing physical and/or mental harm to another individual, especially as it relates to religious beliefs.
So, if a Christian tries to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the person hearing the Gospel claims that it caused them mental harm, they are allowed to claim genocide, and the Christian would be punished.
Of course, we are tempted to shake our heads in disbelief. Nothing like that could really happen, right? Then take a look at how quickly things have changed since November 2019. No one would have believed that it was possible to strip people of their freedoms throughout the entire world at the same time. And the leaders of the world continue in that direction.
The one world order is closer than you think.
Luciferians have been working toward putting things into place for a very long time. They eagerly await the new world order, the one world religion (tolerance for any religion except Christianity), the Antichrist’s rise to power, and the Great Tribulation.
In Closing
God has been revealing the end of this age since the beginning. Nothing happens without His consent. If He allows something, He has a reason for it and a purpose in it. He will help His children through it. He will make good come from it. We do not have to be afraid.
We do need to be in a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We need to draw close to Him, trust Him, and obey Him. It is also possible for believers to walk in the power of Jesus’ name:
12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. (John 14: 12-14)
We need to wake up and realize what is happening. We need to be spiritually prepared for what the future holds. And remember Who holds the future.
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46: 10)
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. (Luke 21: 36)
