Who will be Left Behind?

The Rapture & the 1st Resurrection

When Jesus Christ returns to gather His faithful followers, we will be given incorruptible bodies (immortal vessels for our immortal spirit).

51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. (1 Corinthians 15: 51-53)

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ who lived and died before His return will be raised first. Then, any faithful followers of Jesus Christ who are still alive upon His return will be raised. Together, we will meet Him in the air.

16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17)

This event is referred to as the “first resurrection” (aka the “rapture”). Those who participate in the first resurrection will not come under judgment when God judges everyone else a thousand years later at the Great White Throne. And those who were raptured will live and reign with Christ for a thousand years.

The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.(Revelation 20: 5-6)

After the rapture, there will still be people on the earth. This includes the nations that are stripped of their authority but allowed to continue living after the terrifying beast is destroyed by Jesus at the battle of Armageddon.

11 “I looked then because of the sound of the great words that the horn [the Antichrist] was speaking. And as I looked, the beast was killed, and its body destroyed and given over to be burned with fire. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. (Daniel 7: 11-12)

Unsaved people

The people who were left behind after the rapture are primarily those who did not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Jesus paid the price to ransom people from the consequences of their sin, but everyone is given a choice whether or not to accept Him. Some people will reject Him.

The wage of sin is death.

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.(Romans 6: 23)

Because we have all sinned, we are all under a death sentence. But Jesus offers eternal life.

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (John 3: 16-17)

Anyone who has not accepted Jesus as the One who paid the legal consequence for their sin will eventually be judged by God at the Great White Throne (described in Revelation 20: 11-15).

False conversions:

There are people who claim to be Christians but they do not actually have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

There will even be people who claim to have done amazing things in Jesus’ name but they don’t actually know Him. When they face judgment, Jesus will tell them that He never knew them.

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’(Matthew 7: 23)

There are also people who heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and wanted the salvation that He offers. They may have even accepted Him as their Savior… but they may not have accepted Him as the Lord of their life.

By their fruit you will know them.

16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. (Matthew 7: 16-20)

Look very closely. Whether or not they have a relationship with Jesus Christ should be evident in how they live their life.

16Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.(2 Corinthians 5: 16)

Do they live their life any differently after coming to Christ? Are they in the world and also still of the world? Do they chase after what the world says is important?

Do they think of themselves first or do they value others as much as themselves? Do they trust God with the challenges? Do they give God the glory for the victories or do they take the credit? Do they demonstrate God’s love to others?

Do they do God’s will? Do they hold themselves accountable when they don’t? Do they repent, ask forgiveness, and get back on the narrow path?

Do they demonstrate the fruit of God’s Holy Spirit?

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5: 22-23)

Falling away

There will be people who had heard the gospel of Jesus Christ but like the good seed that fell along the road and was stolen by birds, the good news was taken from them. They heard the word but did not understand it, and the enemy came and stole what was being sewn in their heart. They remained strangers.

And he told them many things in parables, saying: “A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. (Matthew 13: 3-4)

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. (Matthew 13: 19)

There are people who do not remain faithful to Jesus Christ. Like the good seed that was scattered on rocky soil, the roots did not go deep. They heard the good news and their faith began to grow but their faith did not grow strong. When hardship came, their faith withered.

Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away. (Matthew 13: 5-6)

20 As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. (Matthew 13: 20-21)

There are people who do not remain close to Jesus Christ. They started to put down roots in Him but like the good seed that was scattered in an area with thorns/weeds, worries and the deceitfulness of wealth choked out their relationship with Jesus. They become unfruitful.

Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. (Matthew 13: 7)

22 As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. (Matthew 13: 22)

There will be people who claimed to be Christians, but then later they denied Him. Neither did they repent, choose to acknowledge Him, and take up their cross (like Peter did) (Matthew 16: 24). If they choose to deny Him, He will deny them when they stand before His Father.

33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 10: 33)

Good Fruit

It’s not enough to simply say “yes” to Jesus’s offer of salvation. We are to have a relationship with Him, accept Him as the Lord of our life, and follow His commands. When we do that, we will bear good fruit.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. (John 15: 1-2)

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15: 5)

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. (John 15: 7-8)

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. (John 15: 7-11)

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 17 These things I command you, so that you will love one another. (John 15: 16-17)

Those who do not bear good fruit will be thrown into the fire.

10 Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (Matthew 3: 10)

If anyone does not abide in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. (John 15: 5-6)

But when the good seed falls on good soil, the roots grow deep, and brings forth fruit.

Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. (Matthew 13: 8)

23 As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.” (Matthew 13: 23)

God is faithful to us and He expects us to be faithful to Him. He disciplines those He loves instead of allowing them to continue down a path that leads to destruction. He pursues us.

The Lord will also allow whatever it takes to get our attention back onto Him, so that we do not perish. He can make good things come from challenges. He gives us every opportunity to turn back to Him before it is too late. Sometimes that means being refined in the fire.

The Great Tribulation

The Great Tribulation is a time of judgment and chastisement but it is not the wrath of God… it is the wrath of Satan.

12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!” (Revelation 12: 12)

Initially Satan will target the Jewish people but when he realizes that God will supernaturally protect a remnant of Jews, Satan will unleash his fury onto the followers of Jesus Christ.

13 And when the dragon [Satan] saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman [Israel] who had given birth to the male child [Jesus]. 14 But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time [3-1/2 years]. 15 The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood. 16 But the earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon had poured from his mouth. (Revelation 12: 13-16)

17 Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. (Revelation 12: 17)

There will be Christians on the earth during the Great Tribulation and they will be severely persecuted.

Whoever has ears, let them hear.10 “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go.If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people. (Revelation 13: 9)

If the rapture takes place before the time of tribulation, there will still be many Christians who were either left behind and/or who become Christians after the Great Tribulation begins.

Whether or not the rapture takes place before or after the Great Tribulation, God can still protect whomever He chooses in whatever way He chooses.

The Great Tribulation is a time of refining God’s people in the fire, burning off the dross and bringing forth the gold.

As events escalate during the time of great tribulation, God is still trying to give humans an opportunity to return to Him. The difference between good and evil will become much more obvious.

Greater Works

God’s people will also perform great deeds.

32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he [the Antichrist] corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. (Daniel 11: 32)

Perhaps this will be when the world will again see Christians walking in the power that Jesus did and afterwards, that His disciples did.

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (John 14: 12-13)

How amazing it will be to see Christians walking in the power of Jesus Christ and doing even greater things than Jesus did!

How is that possible? Because the works that Jesus did on earth was before He completed what He came to do: overcome sin and death. Once that was done, the Father lifted the name of Jesus above all other names and gave Jesus all authority in heaven and on earth.

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2: 9-11)

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 18-20)

So, why aren’t Christians doing “greater things” that  Jesus described? Because, like the 10 virgins described in Matthew 25, believers have fallen asleep. It’s time to wake up!

The 144,000

When the Great Tribulation ends, the time of the Gentiles is over and the reign of Jesus Christ begins. Jesus begins His eternal reign by implementing the wrath of God. But before God’s wrath is poured out onto the world, the 144,000 are sealed.

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel: (Revelation 7: 1-4)

There will be 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. They are faithful Jewish men who are also virgins (Revelation 14: 4).

It appears that the 144,000 Jewish men will be witnesses to their own tribes. They will prepare their people to recognize the Jewish Messiah (Jesus Christ) when He returns with the armies of heaven for the battle of Armageddon and saves the Jewish remnant from the Antichrist’s armies. The battle of Armageddon is described in Revelation 19: 11-21.

Later, the 144,000 Jewish men are referred to as “first fruits.”

Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps, and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as first fruits for God and the Lamb. (Revelation 14: 1-4)

They are the first of something different. It appears that they are the first people who come to Jesus Christ after He gathers His bride. The time of the Gentiles will be over and they are the first Jewish people in the next age who finally recognized their Jewish Messiah (Jesus Christ).

After the time of the Gentiles is over, the spiritual vision and hearing of the Jewish people will finally be restored. In ancient times, their spiritual eyes and ears were closed by God because their hearts were hard.

He said, “Go and tell this people:“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’10 Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dulland close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” (Isaiah 6: 9-10)

They will finally recognize their Messiah, Jesus Christ, and they will deeply mourn for what their ancestors did to Him.

10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.11 On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. (Zechariah 12: 9-11)

But Jesus has already forgiven them. And He asked the Father to forgive them too.

34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” (Luke 23: 34)

The Wrath of God

After the Great Tribulation, God will pour out His wrath upon the wickedness of the world. This is also referred to as the Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord. It is described in many of the Old Testament books.

The wrath of God is also described as the 7 Golden Bowls in Revelation 15 & 16. God’s wrath includes the battle of Armageddon, which is when Jesus returns with the armies of heaven to save the remnant of Israel from the armies of the Antichrist.

Jesus Christ begins His reign by implementing the wrath of God. Afterwards, He ascends His throne and begins to reign over the earth for a thousand-years.

After the thousand years, there will be the final judgment at the Great White throne. Then, there will be a new heaven and a new earth and a new Jerusalem. That is the eternity that believers await.

The Thousand Years

And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyssand holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. (Revelation 20: 1-3)

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also, I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (Revelation 20: 4)

The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years. (Revelation 20: 5-6)

During the thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ, He will rule with an iron rod. If the nations do not honor him as King of Kings, He will withhold rain from their lands. People who honor Him will be blessed. There will be peace on earth.

It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it, 3  and many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law,and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. (Isaiah 2: 2-4)

During Jesus’ thousand-year reign, people will live for a very long time.

20 No more shall there be in itan infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed. (Isaiah 65: 20)

A thousand years after the battle of Armageddon, there will be one final battle. This battle with end with fire from heaven and then will come the time of final judgment at the Great White Throne.

And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prisonand will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, 10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (Revelation 20: 7-10)

Final Judgment

11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.

13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20: 11-15)

Keep in mind that God judges based on His standard, which is holiness. It’s not about comparing yourself to other people, you are being compared to the holiness of God. It’s not about trying to balance out the good and bad in your life, it’s about living in a way that is blameless before the Lord.

Everyone has sinned and the wages for sin is death. We cannot get to heaven on our own. Only through the saving blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.

10 As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one. (Romans 3: 10)

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (Romans 3: 23-24)

36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, 37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12: 36-37)

13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4: 13)

As the innocent Lamb of God, Jesus Christ gave Himself as a sacrifice to pay the price for our sin. If there was any other way for us to be saved, Jesus would not have endured what He did (being slandered, taunted, tortured, humiliated, and crucified on the cross) in order to save us from our sins.

Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man [Adam], and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned. (Romans 5: 12)

For if, because of one man’s trespass [Adam], death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. (Romans 5: 17)

18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. 19 For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. (Romans 5: 18-19)

But salvation is a gift that can be received or rejected. People who reject the gift will not receive salvation in Jesus Christ.

Great Multitude in White Robes

A large number of Christians will go through the time of Great Tribulation.

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7: 9-10)

13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” (Revelation 19: 13-14)

The Timing of the Rapture

The timing of the rapture event is still uncertain. No one will know the exact day or hour but we are to recognize the season.

36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. (Matthew 24: 36)

We can tell that the time is near but there is debate about if the event happens before or after the time of great tribulation.

32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. (Matthew 24: 32-33)

Some Christians will be “kept” from the time of Great Tribulation. But note that Jesus said this to only 1 of the 7 churches. The other 6 churches will go through the Great Tribulation.

10 Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. (Revelation 3: 10)

Some will be considered “worthy” to “escape” the great tribulation.

36 But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21: 36)

God can choose to accomplish this in any number of ways: He could protect them supernaturally during that time, He could call them home by dying before that time, or He could have the rapture take place just prior to that time.

Matthew 24: 1-13 indicates that half of the 10 virgins (a term that represents believers) were not invited to the wedding supper (which takes place after the rapture). This is because they were not ready for the possibility that the Bridegroom might arrive later than they thought He would. He told them that He did not know them. They were like strangers because they were no longer in a relationship with Him.

The rapture could take place before, during, or after the Great Tribulation. The believers that were not raptured might be left behind for the Great Tribulation or they might be left behind for the Thousand year reign.

Unless there is more than one gathering of the followers of Jesus Christ, the rapture is most likely to take place after the Great Tribulation because Jesus said:

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ 30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Matthew 24: 29-31)

Either way, God is faithful and we do not need to fear. But we are to draw close to Him, trust Him, and obey Him. If He tells you to prepare in a particular way, do what He tells you. But the best thing we can ever do is to stay in a close relationship with Jesus Christ!

No Fear

When you love the Lord the way He says and you keep His commands, you are one of His faithful followers. You belong to Him and He watches over you. He will never leave or forsake you. No matter what the future holds, you do not need to fear.

Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. (Matthew 22: 37-38)

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. (John 15: 9-11)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 6: 6-7)

I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4: 12-13)

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8: 28)

There is only One God. He exists in 3 persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three  existed together and participated in creation. The Father spoke. Jesus is the Word of God. And the Holy Spirit hovered above the waters.

Jesus Christ is the Jewish Messiah. He is the only begotten Son of God. He is the Lamb of God who poured Himself out as an offering to take away the sin of the world. Because of His blood that was shed on the cross, we can be saved. He alone is worthy. He is the Savior of God’s people (both Jew and Gentile). And His very name is powerful.

If you aren’t sure about Him, please ask “the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” to confirm if Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son.

29 But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.  (Deuteronomy 4: 29)

If you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ, please do not delay in getting to know Him and inviting Him into your heart.

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3: 19)
